Our Facility
Our school was opened in 1971 and we moved into our building in 1979. We have over 9,000 square feet between two levels. We have a total of 7 classrooms, 2 with their own kitchen which the children use daily to learn basic cooking skills. Each classroom has toilets and counters and sinks at the child's level. Each room as an adjoining "Observation room" which has a one way mirror. Parents are welcome to use these observation rooms at any time throughout the day to see how their child is doing in the class.
On our lower level we have a large indoor gym and a library with 2 computers. The children use the gym and the library each week. We have our own kitchen where we have staff who make a nutritious, hot lunch every day. All of our lunches consist of a meat, grain, fruit, vegetable, and milk. We have three large playground structures outside. We have a swing set, a fenced in grass area for games, and a bike path also. The children work very hard to maintain their garden where they grow vegetables and herbs. We have a security key pad which requires a code to enter the building to ensure that we are keeping the children safe. All visitors wear a badge and the code is changed on a regular basis.
