School Director
Miss Grace

Miss Grace is the Director of Midland Montessori School. Grace looks forward to serving Midland Montessori School Families, Staff, and Board. She brings many years of service to MMS and knowledge of Montessori Philosophy to the Administration of the school. Grace is pleased to work as a team leader to take the staff and school into a bright future.
Educated at Central New England College, Delta College, and the Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute, Grace has worked at MMS since 1995 and celebrated 25 years with MMS in September, 2020. Miss Grace was a Lead Teacher of the 3-6 programs until June, 2014, when she moved into the Director position full time.
She strives to offer a high quality Montessori environment which is stimulating to the children, peaceful, and holds a sense of community. Partnering with the parents of MMS, maintaining an outstanding Montessori curriculum for the students, and working closely with the staff are her most important concerns.

School Secretary
Tara Richard joined MMS in June, 2017 from her former position at Northeast Middle School. Tara brings her wonderful friendly interactions with families and students to MMS and has become a valuable part of the MMS team. Her nine years experience in education assists with how she fits in her role at MMS.
Tara is married and has three sons, one of whom attended MMS several years ago, so she is already aware of how the school functions and embraces the meaning of Montessori.
